Questions on

Why LensOnline?

Yes! We offer original products directly from the manufacturers. Exactly the same products as at the optician. However, it is crucial to have regular eye checks and visit one of our optometrists, even if you order online. An overview of our partners can be found here at Affiliates.

You can order securely thanks to our well-known payment methods such as Bancontact, PayPal and credit card. Moreover, we guarantee a reliable and personal service via our customer service department, which provides support and reviews and solves any questions or concerns you may have.

Our lenses and lens solutions are 100% original. We buy our products directly from the manufacturer. Because we have a smart stocking system, you usually get even longer-lasting products from us than from the optician, which is handy for lens solution, for example. It doesn't get any more original than this!

Becoming a customer at LensOnline offers several advantages. First of all, we are known for our reliable, safe and fast service. Customers can rely on high-quality service, supported by specialists in all their subsidiaries. We also offer the opportunity to purchase original branded lenses and lens solutions, purchased directly from manufacturers. Moreover, we strive to help customers wear lenses in a healthy and responsible manner. We recommend regular eye checks and offer professional advice in all our subsidiaries, where customers can go for support and expertise.

Contact lenses

Determining which lenses you need is an individual matter and depends on several factors, such as brand, type, and strength to suit your eyes. In addition, every eye is unique so it is important to check with one of our opticians beforehand. We strongly recommend contacting one of our opticians for expert advice before purchasing lenses.
There are significant differences between lenses, such as material, water content and diameter, which can affect the comfort and health of your eyes. Ill-fitting lenses can cause eye problems, something we obviously want to spare you.
You can get expert advice on our website or in one of our subsidiaries to choose the right lenses to suit your specific needs and eye health.
If you have further questions about our contact lenses, you can always contact our customer service team.

The choice of lens solution is personal. Here too, your optometrist or optician can advise you. We sell all brands and you can therefore order the best-fit product from us without any problem. Please note that lens solution is almost as important as the lenses themselves. The wrong fluid can irritate eyes. We recommend that you contact one of our opticians first. You can find an optician near you via the Subsidiaries page

If you have never worn contact lenses before, you may be wondering how to insert and remove them. We recommend that, as a new contact lens wearer, you first make an appointment with one of our contact lens specialists. They will not only recommend which lenses best suit your eyes and lifestyle, but also teach you how to insert them. Together with you, they will go through all the steps so that you can confidently insert and remove your lenses on your own at home. Find one of our contact lens specialists near you via the Subsidiaries page.

How often you should replace your lenses depends on the type of lenses you wear. In general, there are different replacement schedules:
  • Daily lenses: These lenses are replaced every day. You wear them for a day and then throw them away. This type of lens does not require cleaning and storage with lens solution.
  • Weeklenses: The most hygienic way is to replace weeklenses every fortnight and clean them with lens solution and store them at night.
  • Monthly lenses: Monthly lenses are worn for one month before replacement. Monthly lenses should be cleaned daily and stored overnight in lens solution.

It is crucial to follow the replacement schedule of your specific lenses, as it affects your eye health and comfort. Ignoring the recommended replacement schedule can lead to eye irritations, infections or other complications. Always consult your optician or eye care specialist for specific advice regarding your type of lenses and their replacement schedule.

Eye checks

We recommend having an eye check-up once every six months (twice a year). This period is just right to spot any problems in time. Should you experience any problems or hindrance with your lenses in the interim, we obviously recommend having your eyes checked at one of our opticians as soon as possible. An overview of all our partners can be found here: Affiliates

One of the advantages of LensOnline is that we offer you a professional service in all our subsidiaries. Our goal is to help our customers wear lenses in a healthy and responsible way. That's why we often remind our customers to visit your local optician in time for a check-up. After all, there are too many differences between lenses (such as material, water content, diameter, etc.). Wearing poorly adapted or wrong lenses can cause eye problems. You can find an optician near you via the page : Subsidiaries

The price of an eye test varies according to the level of test to be carried out.

Delivery

The delivery time varies per product and is mentioned with each product. The delivery time depends on the availability at the supplier, the stock in the shop and the stock at LensOnline. If you need contact lenses urgently, you can place an order directly with the optician in the shop and take your lenses home immediately (if in stock at the shop).

As soon as your order is dispatched from the distribution centre, 'Dispatched' will appear in your 'LensOnline profile' next to the order. You will also receive a shipping confirmation from us by e-mail with a Track & Trace link so you can track your order online on the bpost website. ac

If you choose 'delivery via DPD' (€6.90 shipping costs), you will receive an e-mail as soon as the order is dispatched in which they can still change the delivery address up to one hour before delivery. (This is not possible until the order is shipped, so this does not change the delivery time of the order).

Deliveries are only possible in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg and Germany. All you have to do is change the delivery address to the correct one. For exact shipping costs, please contact our customer service: 03 212 28 28.

  • at home or at work
  • in a LensOnline branch (free shipping)
  • at a bpostPoint
  • in a bpost parcel machine

This depends on the chosen payment method and the stock of your chosen products.
- Bancontact, Mister Cash, Visa, Mastercard
- Bank transfer: two to three working days
Once again: these delivery times only apply to products in stock.

The bpost driver will deliver the order to the delivery address. If you are not at home during the first delivery attempt, you will receive an absence notice in your letterbox. You can then choose between two options:
  • call bpost to make new delivery appointment
  • collect the order yourself from a bpost Point or post office
More information on delivery can be found directly on the bpost website.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to determine the delivery time of your order yourself.

You can have your order delivered to an address other than your billing address. In your LensOnline profile, you have the option to specify a billing and delivery address under 'Billing address'. You can change this at any time. This gives you the freedom, for example, to have your order delivered to your home one time and the office the next.
Please note: After finalising your order, you cannot change the delivery address. Neither can our customer service department change it.

You can choose to have your order delivered to a bpost collection point or to a LensOnline branch. During the ordering process, you can choose your method of delivery.

  • Belgium: Bpost
  • Netherlands: PostNL
  • France: Colissimo and mondial relay
  • Germany: DPD
  • Luxembourg: DPD

Payments in the LensPlan subscription

Depending on the products you have chosen (daily or monthly lenses), you will pay off a chunk of your supply each month for a period of three or six months.
  • Daily lenses: At the time of delivery, the first installment starts at one-third of the total price for three months until there is another delivery. Once there is a new delivery, you will have paid off the previous products in full.
  • Monthly lenses: At the time of delivery, the first instalment starts at one-sixth of the total price for six months until there is another delivery. Once there is a new delivery, you will have paid off the previous products in full.

This depends on the type of lenses, the subscription plan you have chosen, and any potential service fees. Visit https://lensplan.lensonline.be and discover how much you would pay by selecting the desired products and subscription. You can also request more information from your LensOnline optician or our customer service.
For the Premium LensPlan, an additional service fee is applicable, varying from optician to optician. Obtain more information from your LensOnline optician regarding the initiation of a Premium LensPlan and the additional cost.

You pay off your products every month. Depending on your products, you pay either one-third of the total amount each month or one-sixth of the total amount.

Pausing LensPlan subscription

After logging in to https://lensplan.lensonline.be, you can pause your subscription via your account. The subscription will then 'freeze' and no more deliveries will temporarily follow.

Through your account, you can restart your subscription. A new delivery will then follow and payments will resume as before.

You still pay until the lenses you have already received are paid in full. No new delivery and therefore no new payment will follow. Do you pause the LensPlan less than one month before your next order? Then that order will continue as normal.

Stop LensPlan subscription

How unfortunate that you wish to discontinue your subscription. After logging in on the website, you can use your account to cancel your subscription.

Of course you can! You can restart your subscription simply by registering or logging in again and starting a new subscription online or at a LensOnline optician near you.

The automatic installment stops once the last order is fully paid off and no new products are sent. Do you cancel the LensPlan less than one month before the next order? Then that order will continue as normal.

Manage and change LensPlan subscription

By accessing your account at https://lensplan.lensonline.be and then clicking on 'Manage subscription'. There you can change your desired address details and also change your payment method if desired.

Changing products in the subscription is only possible at our LensOnline opticians. For more information on changing the products in your subscription, you can also always contact our customer service department.

Once the subscription starts, you can expect it to be delivered three or six months later, depending on your chosen products. You cannot choose the exact day. You will receive an e-mail once your products have left our warehouse with a track-and-trace code and this way you can closely monitor the delivery.

See return policy LensOnline.
