Introduction

This privacy policy regulates the processing of your data by the controller LensOnline, Kasteleinstraat 11, 9150 Kruibeke,BE0536.230.450, herinafter LensOnline and is based on article 13 of the GDPR regulation.

Please read this privacy policy carefully as it contains essential information about how your personal data in processed. By providing your personal data you declare that you have taken note of this Privacy Policy and you expressly agree to it as well as the processing.

LensOnline complies with the Act of July 30th 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regards to the processing of personal data as well as the anti-spam provisions of Book XII of the code of Economic Law regarding the "law of the electronic economy".

Through the current Privacy Policy LensOnline also complies with the European Regulation 2016/679 of April 27th 2016 on the protection of personal data.

The person responsible for processing your personal data is LensOnline. A statement has been made to the Commission for the Protection of Privacy regarding the processing of personal data.

Article 3: Purpose of Data Processing

3.1 General Purpose

LensOnline will use the collected Personal Data solely for the following purposes:

  • Category 1: maintain and improve the website and including anonymized Personal Data in statistics, with the legal basis being the legitimate interest of LensOnline to continuously improve its website and services.
  • Category 2: the management of your account on this website, with the legal basis being the excution of an agreement requested by the user and, if indicated by the user, the sending of direct marketing with explicit prior consent.

We delete inactive customer accounts after 7 years. After that period, we only use your data anonymously for internal reporting. We are obliged to keep your invoice, payment and order details for 7 years. We will then only use your data anonymously.

If you have registered for the newsletter or have given permission to receive personalized messages and our e-mails do not bounce, you are considered active.

5.1. Right of access and inspection

You have the right to inquire about your personal data free of charge at any time, as well as the use that we make of your personal data.

5.2. Right of improvement, deletion and limitation

Article 6: Security and confidentiality

6.1.
